Nate & Dana
we didn’t know what to expect during our buying process. We appreciated the relationship that Jenna built with us and the many days and hours she spent with us. Jenna helped us see the positives and negatives in each home we looked at and she was thorough in her showings and provided tips to improve the conditions of each house. We also appreciated that she asked us lots of questions while leading up to making an offer. We felt no pressure and knew that Jenna was on our side under any circumstance. She truly wanted what was best for us and cared about our future.
Jenna is always prepared, extremely knowledgeable, and deeply cares for her clients. It was a pleasure working with her. Thank you,
TJ & Melissa Therrien
When I listed my home of 40 years over a year ago with Jenna and RE/MAX Results, I had no idea what to expect from the process of "Selling one’s home and buying another."
I had briefly considered selling back in 2006, before any bubble crunch, but then opted to instead make improvements to my home and yard. It was a place I truly loved for many reasons, reasons that came to the surface as I looked for my new home. I found the acre of yard was becoming a challenge as each year slipped by. As I continued the repairs, Jenna showed me numerous townhomes and even condos (I quickly ruled out) from Maple Grove as far south as Eden Prairie. In the early years, many of the town homes were less than 10 years old and only 1 place in Eden Prairie had possibilities in my mind. At this point I had not listed my home.
A very dry summer in 2009, made me realize I needed to make a change in my life. I loved seeing a beautiful green yard and Mother Nature was not kind to those who had a gravel base under the topsoil. I recall my financial guide and Jenna talking to one another at my kitchen table. Realizing they were about to leave, I blurted out, “What do I have to do to put this place up for sale?" One of them said, "You decide!" I looked at both of them and said, "I am ready to do it!" I believe I left within that week for a trip to Agawa Canyon in Michigan and Jenna went ahead and put my house on the market while I was gone. Coming home, and seeing the "FOR SALE" sign seemed strange, but that was the beginning of the journey in earnest. Jenna held many Open Houses, and my home sale did come from someone who made a visit the following March in 2010. It did seem a long time waiting from Sept. ’09 to March of ’10, but Jenna was always upbeat and did her very best to keep me encouraged and "Thinking ahead."
When the couple that found my place, decided it was the right fit for them in April, they, too, needed to get theirs sold. Along with the housing bubble crunch, one had to adjust our thinking on the value of what we were selling as well as what we wanted to buy.
I became more focused in my search and noticed my thinking was being affected by the things I really liked about the home I was selling. Without realizing it, there were things I really wanted in my home that I was looking for:
1. I wanted a brick home, with many windows to the south and west.
2. Location that was convenient and easy to find.
3. Chance to look out and see the grass and yard.
4. Privacy for myself.
We found a brick town home about a mile from my place, that I walked into and then right out, the 1st three times I saw it last February and March. It needed much tender loving care inside, like I had done to my place and was not quite ready to do again. Somehow when I again stopped by in late April and met the realtor, I began to realize this place had the 4 things I mentioned above that I wanted in my next home.
It was an estate sale, and this seller, decided they wanted to see me get this place. Things then, began to fall in place and Jenna was front and center in walking me through all the steps. I could never have done it by myself.
Now, four months later, I have been able to make this 32 year old brick town home the "Dream home" I was looking for all these years. I get morning sun, most of the afternoon, and even the hot sun of summer is tempered by the angle my home sits. I can watch my 92 year old neighbor who loves to feed the birds. I have never seen so many cardinals up close.
As you can see, it is a step by step process, not easy to do, but in the end it is so rewarding. Jenna has the courage, foresight, and information to lead one through this tunnel and help you see the light at the end.
I will be ever grateful to you, Jenna.
