The single most expensive Twin Cities home sale in 5 years completed last week. Extreme Luxury Homes in the Twin Cities still pull big buyers as one Lake Minnetonka single-family home on a single lot in the Twin Cities just sold for $6.05 million.

Big ticket home prices have no problem selling in several prime Twin Cities locations. According to listing broker Adam Fonda in the Wayzata office of Lakes Sotheby's International Realty, former Alliant Techsystems Inc. Julie Regan, the Realtor in Lakes Sotheby's Edina office was the listing Realtor and has been confidential and quite when asked to comment on the transaction. We do know some details thanks to an article published yesterday that was title "Former ATK CEO sells Lake Minnetonka home for $6M". The story says that: "Edina-based L. Cramer Builders built the home in 2011. The architect was Peter Eschuke, principal of Wayzata-based Eskuche Design. The property hit the market in June 2013 for $7.2 million. The asking price was reduced to $6.45 million in August."

The home was listed on the MLS as a 8,754-square-foot home with four posh bedrooms with full bathroom suites in each. The property occupies 0.82 prime acres of real estate. Property taxes include 178 feet of shoreline frontage along Gray’s Bay in Lake Minnetonka.
